[ Within a few days of Kang's return, an envelope with a sizable monetary donation arrives for SELF to allocate as they feel is necessary. There is an unsigned but handwritten note included, which reads:

[ Perhaps it's a bit old-fashioned, but the message arrives for Kang via mockingbird. Sealed closed by a wax mockingbird sigil, the letter is hand-written in careful cursive. ]

Dear, Governor -

It's been quite some time since we have spoken, but I am glad to see you back within the porter cities. I write to you on behalf of a project I am working on within my city. Construction has already begun on rebuilding a much larger library, but I wish for this to be more than simply a bigger structure. I hope to inspire education and the spread of knowledge to the natives of Maurtia Falls as well as provide an invaluable resource to new arrivals here. But more than that, I wish to use it to pay homage to the natives who lost their lives within Maurtia Falls due to imPort related tragedies. Their names will be honored within the library itself and donations will be set up to be made to the families.

For this project to succeed, I need your help. If you are able to donate anything at all to the cause, it would be most appreciated -- whether that is books, money, or simply your time. I plan to put programs into place once the library is finished to have imPorts come in and read to the much younger generation. I believe it would be a great way to strengthen the native and imPort bond. And I do imagine you to have an excellent tolerance for children.

[Oh, but Kang does appreciate a handwritten letter. This is how he conducts business at home. Baelish will receive a letter in response a few days later, via modern postal services. Unfortunately, he doesn't have mockingbirds at his beck and call.

His handwriting is a somewhat messier cursive - he takes care to make it ledgible - and the letter is carefully folded and tied with a dark blue ribbon instead of sealed with wax.]

Much belated congratulations are in order for your winning the election. I apologize for not doing so sooner. You are well-suited for it, and if your current project is any indication, you will improve the lives of both imPorts and Natives.

I will gladly donate for your cause. The modern method is, of course, to write a check. Who should it be made out to and where should it be delivered?

I am also quite willing to donate my time via reading to younglings. You are correct that I have an excellent tolerance for them, and truthfully, I would like to create a program very much like this one for my own nation if fate is willing to allow memory of this world upon leaving one day. My grandchildren would be delighted, as would all draconian younglings.
