Not really. I saw him at the debates. He talked about killing dragons. A lot of those who want to be Ambassadors have killed dragons, or seem to consider it.

There are dragons on other worlds, and even our own, who are not like you and your nestmates. They steal and destroy, and kill others, for pleasure. For some of the other races, that is the only type of dragon they know. They haven't yet met a dragon who is good in nature.
That particular question was likely asked because of one such dragon that arrived on this world last year. We were forced to kill her to save lives.
Leaders know that they only gained their position because of the will of the people. They know that they risk their position if they choose to do something the people don't agree with. The people also feel more obligated to pay attention to what their leaders do, and to enact change, knowing that they have some power in decision-making.
You will be required to go to a human school, more than likely. There, you'll learn how this system of government works.

Daryl read that file of me when he was teaching me how to walk. He said that I got a job, but it sounded like whoever gave me a job didn't give me a school to go to. He seemed upset that I got a job instead of a school.
